Every author probably has them - the scenes that are so complicated with many characters, so sad, or so steamy we dread writing them! Last night I had to write one - a scene so steamy that just thinking about writing it made me blush. After coaxing myself to sit down and attack it, and plying myself with a glass of wine (appropriately named, as you can see in the picture) the words finally came! I wrote for two hours and finished with a feeling of triumph... only to reread what I had written and discover that it left me cold. Back to the drawing board!
