Naturally I one-clicked it immediately and sat down to read.
I felt kind of the way I used to when I was twelve and snuck my mom's historical romance novels. This standalone book is heavy on story and tension. If you're looking for steamy scenes, you're going to have to be patient. But when the time is right... wow. Viola Rivard always delivers.
The characters are compelling, the setting is different from the usual PNR, all in all it was a magnificent escape!
